Physical Clay to Digital Creatures (Teaching Project)

Teaching "Space Research" at Virginia Commonwealth University, I developed a workflow that was easily accessible for foundation art students to bring their physical experience with material into a digital platform.
These were sculpted in clay and 3d-scanned. Using Quixel Mixer, students processed found materials and surfaces to texture their creatures and landscapes in Blender.
